Culture Shock Fashion Show 2010

Saturday, November 28, I Attended The Annual Culture Shock Fashion Show At The Convention Center In Downtown Cleveland, And Wow I Was At Lost For Words. Hosted By Fonzworth Bentley, He Took A Journey Into The World Of Fashion & Art In Ohio's Largest Fashion Event. The Outfits Were Amazing, Especially Coming From College Students. The Event Consisted Of Different Colleges Throughout Ohio Who Have Fashion Design Majors Available. It Wasn't A Competition, But It Really Proved Who Was Killing The Game; Clearly BGSU Killed It In My Opinion!

The Blazer Was Customized By Me, Consisting Of A Silk Fabric I Sewed Onto The Pockets Of The Blazer, Vintage Chains Hung By H&M Pins, A Dope Metal Brooch Recycled From My Motherboard, Burberry Scarf, And A Prada Clutch/Satchel (From My Sis "Amber Rose"). The Girl In The First Picture Is Ashlee, Aka Ash B. She's Dope, And We Designed Her Big Bow Together From The "Live Wild" 2011 Collection.  Unfortunately You Can't See It, But It's Really Dope And Gorgeous. Overall I Had A Great Fashion Night Out, And Can't Wait Til Next Year!

I've Been Working With Ebony For Awhile Now, And I Must Say She's One Of The Best Business Partners I Have. She's Into Photography And Drawing, But Her Main Passion Is Music. 2nd Annual Compassion From Fashion Event In Beachwood

Today I Attended A Fashion Show In Beachwood Place, Here In Beachwood, OH. With My Sister Destiny. The Event Consisted Of Local Celebrities And Cancer Patients Modeling Items From Stores In The Mall. With The Purchase Of A Ticket You Also Got Discounts Through Out The Mall, Such As Stores Like NEXT And Nordstrom. Also, You're Entered In A Drawing For A Gift Basket Full Of Goodies, Worth Over $1000. All Proceeds Went To Renovate "The Gathering Area" Here In Beachwood Place. The Show Was Great, So Were The Models. I Had A Really Great Time And Met And Talked With A Lot Of Random People, And Will DEFINITELY Attend Next Year =D

Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Hi, I'm Kris Hilton, and I'm an upcoming accessory designer from Cleveland, OH. I've always had a passion for fashion. I hope one day to actually make it to the "Big League". All I need to do is finish High School. Once I finish High School, I plan on attending The Art Institute of Pittsburg to get my degree in Fashion Retail & Managment. But as for now, I'm stuck in my senior year of High School.

My line is called "Live Wild". I came up for this name because of what I witness in society and from what I see around me all the time. What I see is that everyone has a wild side, and whenever we express that side we sometimes get into trouble or end up doing the wrong things. So, instead of expressing ourselves physically or verbally, I feel as if we should express ourselves through fashion. That way, we don't get into any trouble. My line will consist of extreme accessories, made for the bold and 'Wild' kind. Lately I've been experimenting with a few things, here's a sample

I hope to have my line launched sometime next year in spring break, which gives me all winter to work on it. Luckily we have a lot of breaks from school so I have so many ideas I need to get out there. People seem to love what they see so far, and these Customizable 2-finger rings are a real hit! I think i might keep them in my line.

There's sooooo many things for me to work on this winter. Most of these pictures wont even exist once my line is fully launched. So we wish me luck, follow my journey by checking out my blog weekly for more updates.! Peace, Love, And Fashion =D
